Central Elementary


     Welcome to Central Elementary School's Pre-K Programs

Central Elementary School is a new state of the art school with three designated Pre-K Classrooms.  The classrooms are being utilized to serve 3 and 4 year-olds in the NC Pre-K,  Title I, and Exceptional Childrens' Programs.  We have 6 staff members that work directly with our Pre-K students.  There is at least one instructor and one instructional assistant in each classroom.

Central Elementary holds a 5 star license, which is the highest quality of educational services in North Carolina.  All of our staff members are highly qualified according to North Carolina Standards.


 Cinda Parker Cinda Parker is in her 5th year as a Pre-K Teacher. She was previously a Teacher Assistant for 9 years.  She really enjoys working with the Pre-K Children.  She has an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood.  Mrs. Parker graduated in May 2009 with a B.A. Degree in Birth-Kindergarten. Ms. Manley joins the Central Pre-K Team bringing along years of knowledge and experience in the area of Early Childhood. She will serve 3 and 4 year-old students. Join NCS in welcoming her to the Pre-K Team.

Nellie White is a Veteran Instructional Partner with numerous years of experience within the educational setting. 

Angela Ramsey works with 4 year old children in the Title I and NC Pre-K Programs.  She earned a Bachelor's Degree in Child Development and Family Relations at North Carolina A&T State University.  She has Birth-Kindergarten Certification from North Carolina Central University.  She has over 11 years of teaching experience with 7 of them in the Pre-K Classroom.  She has a 16 year-old daughter and She loves children and looks forward to continuing to serve the children in Northampton County. Ms. Ramsey also parents a 16 year-old daughter.

Evette McGuire works with our 4 year old students in the Title I and NC Pre-K Programs. She has worked in the Pre-K Program for several years.
