The Northampton County Schools will host a community introduction to the Northampton Career and Technical Academy of Innovation on Wednesday, April 21, 2021, 6:00 pm at Northampton County Cultural and Wellness Center located at 9536 NC-305, Jackson, NC 27845. The public is invited.
Daily Schedule as of Monday, March 15, 2021
8:00-9:20 1st Period (80 minutes)
9:30-10:50 2nd Period (80 minutes)
10:55-12:15 3rd Period (80 minutes)
ALL: 12:15-12:35-Lunch in Classes (minimum of 20 minutes to eat is required with School nutrition)
Transition 12:35-12:40 (restroom and mask break scheduled outside when possible)
12:40-2:00 4th Period (80 minutes)
Baseball and Track & Field sign-ups for eligibility checks will begin on March 29, 2021, tryouts for both sports will not begin until April 12, 2021.
Students who wish to participate in athletics and their parents must register with FinalForms.com to complete the required paperwork. A copy of a current physical must be submitted to the athletic office prior to try-outs and participation. In light of CO-VID 19, NCHSAA has made temporary changes to the physical examination requirements. Students whose physicals were obtained on or after March 1, 2019, through May 1, 2020, will be allowed to use that physical for the 2020-2021 school sports seasons. All others must submit a new physical. Physicals that are on file during that time period will be verified by myself once the parent and student-athlete have both completed registrations.
