    Students at GSLA participate in Walk to School Day. On behalf of Coach Pargo and GSLA Faculty and Staff, we would like to thank Gaston Police Department, Gaston's Fire & Ambulance Department for helping this event be successful.  Thank you for being a Partner in Education (P.I.E.).  Thank you Coach Pargo for an awesome event!     It is official!  The scholars at GSLA have spoken.   On Friday, it was announced that our scholars selected All Stars as the new Mascot for Gaston STEM Leadership Academy.

    Aug. 31st - Math Is Everywhere - Wear clothes with numbers or patterns to show math is everywhere.


    Sept. 1st - Mentally Sharp- Be as sharp as you can be, because LEADERS have sharp minds and are sharp thinkers.


    Sept. 2nd - TEAM...Success - Wear your favorite team shirt or school colors today.


    Sept. 3rd - STEM Freestyle Day - Wear shirts, pants, shoes, and/or caps that represent your favorite topic in science.

    Our open house ceremony will be held on Saturday, August 14th from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.  Come out to meet the principal,
    your child's teacher, see our Cultivating Minds and Growing "Budd"ing Leaders Garden, and learn 
    all about the new school initiatives!  Food will be served and door prizes will be given out.  Join us!!!!
