Northampton County is a rural community located in the northeastern part of North Carolina. The county's 539 square miles sit astride the Coastal Plain and Piedmont Regions. The population is approximately 23,000. Within 15-90 miles there is an abundance of cultural, historical, recreational, and other educational institutions.
