Student Learning Option Form for 2020-21 Spring Semester
DUE: Thursday, December 10, 2020
Parents/Guardians: Please complete this form for each child enrolled in Northampton County Schools. The choice you make for your student will be in place through May 21, 2021 for Grades 9-12 (Early Calendar) or June 3, 2021 for Grades PK-8 (Traditional Calendar). All state testing will be required in both remote and face to face learning choices.
If you select remote learning, your scholar will participate in virtual learning opportunities for Northampton County Schools' scholars. Please complete this survey for each child by Thursday, December 10, 2020.
Scholars will be provided instruction for courses needed for grade level promotion as well as high school graduation. There will be opportunities for 1:1, small group, and self-paced remote instruction as well as support for our special population scholars. Students registered for the remote learning option are expected to remain in that particular environment until courses are complete through the end of the 2020-2021 school year.
Community Support Spotlight
The State Highway Patrol Department in conjunction with the North Carolina Department of Education donated over 200 slightly used laptops to the Northampton County School District in order to support our school system. The Local School Board voted to accepted the laptop donations and sends our heartfelt thank you to the SHP. NCDPI and all other parties who were involved in Changing the Lives of Children!
